Sharon Winston

Volunteer Executive Director

Sharon has been a proud 30+ year supporter and volunteer, including six years of leadership as board chair and eight years as ED. Winston was responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of Project HIRED and giving direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization’s philosophy, mission and strategy. As the agency closes she will lead the establishment of a scholarship fund for disabled students at a local institution so that Project HIRED’s mission can continue on.

Maddy Thomas

Staff Accountant

Maddy started at Project HIRED in 2017 as the staff accountant assistant, eventually taking over the full position. Over time, she added social media management and marketing to her duties. Outside of Project HIRED, she is a Revenue Accountant at San Jose State University and a personal blogger, posting about her daily life, travels, and workouts to promote disability awareness and inspire others. Her goal is to become financially independent and set up for a great future.
